Top 5 Reason to choose Air Asia

Air Asia won Skytrax World Best  Low Cost Airline for the Year 2009 and 2010. It is not easy to win the award for two years in a row and who know, maybe for 2011 as well. But still many people do complaint about Air Asia ex-specially delays and flight cancellation. For me, I understand that flight cancellation or re-time or delay is an common practice in aviation industry. Then complains about Air Asia charging for baggage, meals, seats and etc. Come on, its low cost airline. But 1 thing, even if add all that extra charges up its still cheaper than other full fare airlines. So whats the big deal? People choose Air Asia because its cheap. Its freaking cheap!!! The fact is, the mistake in human minds, why? Because if a low cost airline or any low cost services did a mistake or cause any small hassle, it will be concluded because if cheap and that's the reason for the mistake. But if a full fare airline or an executive service did the same error, it will be concluded as genuine and forgivable. Generally, people always complain is people who don't get the fares they wanted in the sale and the person who not ready to fly. But till not all complains should be ignored, mistakes happened and lesson has to be learned and complains can't be avoided, because we are humans.

Based on people experience and the positive ways to see people complains. Here's our Top 5 reason why to choose Air Asia.

5.  Pre-Booking Advantages
Air Asia works on different fare class levels. The will start the schedules of each flight with the lowest fare class level and it will move gradually up as the booking continues. This actually good most of us will plan our vacation at least 6months prior to the dates. Based on this fare system which Air Asia using, its an advantage for those who booking the flight earlier where the chances getting lowest fare class level is high regardless to any promotions

4. Excellence Service
They do have excellence services. For a low cost airline to have such service, its good. Traveled with Air Asia a few times and never had any issues with the service provided. Sometimes maybe 1 or 2 staff which create a bad impression to Air Asia but this happen everywhere, not only with Air Asia.

3. Offers Tour + Accommodation + Flight
Air Asia do offer travel packages such as accommodation's and tours together with the flight. Its actually makes the trip easier and hassle fee. Services like airport transfers to hotel, tour packages is actually good to be pre-booked together with the flights.

2. Destinations
Air Asia flies to more than 400 routes from all the hubs. This actually why Air Asia is good when compared to other low cost airlines. Even though they fly less destination to Europe at this moment (Stansted-London & Orly-Paris) but to explore Asia, Air Asia will be the best to choose. Destinations like Balikpapan, Hat Yai, Ubon Ratchthani and a lot more where I never heard before.

1. Cheap!!!
This obviously will be the top reason why Air Asia is better than other Airline. The fares to all the destination is far much cheaper than other Airlines. No matter you flying domestic or international, it is cheap. Air Asia is well known for the promotions, it is more cheaper if you got an promotion fare, RM1, RM5, RM10 and even they had RM0 fare sales last time. The seats are limited but the chance for you getting its high if you know when its actually starting. I will get to know by the newsletter that they will send to my mail. Whenever there is promotion, somehow i will get a flight no matter to where.

Top 5 Habits of Malaysian Travelers ( In-flight )

5. One of the habit of Malaysia is to take home the in-flight stuff such as Magazines, Pillows and Blankets. Normally they stuffed the thing in their hand-carry luggage ( Carry-On / Cabin Luggage ) and bring it back home. The reason is to be kept the stuff as souvenirs but still it's not a good habit at all. It effects the next passengers on the flight next rotations.

4. Next is actually is not a bad habit but it happens to save money from paying for checked in luggage. Passengers tend to carry as much as possible into cabin even though there is a specification on the weights and the sizes. We forgot that the space in the luggage storage area in-flight is actually small and limited and most importantly will be shared with other passengers. Do find out the weight and size specifications for Cabin Luggage before travel....

3. Stewardess in flights is the person who will assist us in the case we need assistance and also to take care safety of the travellers. But It does happen where guys evens old mans like to be "friendly" with them. Its not something new compared to daily life, but to flirt with them or throwing out some lame pick-up lines should be avoided. Other passengers might be noticing it and it might be foreigner as well.

2. This is one of the most worst habit of Malaysian in flight. Two adjacent seats come with one armrest in the center. There is no regulation saying that it should be shared or first come first serve. Some will dominate the armrest and then act as he/she don't realise it for the rest of the travel hours. Even worse, the one next to the person will just wait for the moment for he/she to move the arm so that they can do the same.

1. The top worst habit is rushing. I don't see the point of rushing in and out of the flights. Maybe acceptable where those days where free seating systems used by few airlines. But now no more. Seat either pre-booked or automatically allocated. Rushing into the flight is the most unacceptable. Are you gonna take off early if you get into the flights? Its make a difference when disembark but as far as I experience, the time delay between the first pax and the last person to disembark is a matter of few minutes, maybe 10 minutes and lesser. So no point o rushing out of the flights, it will even delay the disembarkation process. Most importantly, do give importance to elderly people to disembark first.
