Top 5 Habits of Malaysian Travelers ( In-flight )
5. One of the habit of Malaysia is to take home the in-flight stuff such as Magazines, Pillows and Blankets. Normally they stuffed the thing in their hand-carry luggage ( Carry-On / Cabin Luggage ) and bring it back home. The reason is to be kept the stuff as souvenirs but still it's not a good habit at all. It effects the next passengers on the flight next rotations.
4. Next is actually is not a bad habit but it happens to save money from paying for checked in luggage. Passengers tend to carry as much as possible into cabin even though there is a specification on the weights and the sizes. We forgot that the space in the luggage storage area in-flight is actually small and limited and most importantly will be shared with other passengers. Do find out the weight and size specifications for Cabin Luggage before travel....
3. Stewardess in flights is the person who will assist us in the case we need assistance and also to take care safety of the travellers. But It does happen where guys evens old mans like to be "friendly" with them. Its not something new compared to daily life, but to flirt with them or throwing out some lame pick-up lines should be avoided. Other passengers might be noticing it and it might be foreigner as well.
2. This is one of the most worst habit of Malaysian in flight. Two adjacent seats come with one armrest in the center. There is no regulation saying that it should be shared or first come first serve. Some will dominate the armrest and then act as he/she don't realise it for the rest of the travel hours. Even worse, the one next to the person will just wait for the moment for he/she to move the arm so that they can do the same.
1. The top worst habit is rushing. I don't see the point of rushing in and out of the flights. Maybe acceptable where those days where free seating systems used by few airlines. But now no more. Seat either pre-booked or automatically allocated. Rushing into the flight is the most unacceptable. Are you gonna take off early if you get into the flights? Its make a difference when disembark but as far as I experience, the time delay between the first pax and the last person to disembark is a matter of few minutes, maybe 10 minutes and lesser. So no point o rushing out of the flights, it will even delay the disembarkation process. Most importantly, do give importance to elderly people to disembark first.
